Sales engineers provide clients with sales advice and support. They work on behalf of a range of industries including manufacturing, utilities, and biomedical, providing technical knowledge to identify new business, negotiate contracts and review sales performance. The role of sales engineers essentially involves translating and explaining highly complex technical information to customers and clients, focusing on revealing how a product or piece of equipment can solve specific problems.
Responsibilities
To achieve the technical sales & gross profit budget assigned by the company. The budget setting will based on the territory covered by this position
Always maintain a healthy technical business prospect bank based on the expectation set by company
Focus on spare parts, preventive maintenance, machine upgrade business and etc.
Develop technical business key customers through acquiring high value technical solutions that make customers feel safe.
To support after-sales engineers to identify technical business opportunities and work together to close the order
Requirements
3 to 5 years sales experience
Good communication (oral and written) in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Education: Diploma or Bachelor Degree, Major in engineering courses is added advantage
Personnel with technical sales experience will be added advantages
Past working experience in Industrial Automation will be added advantage
